XIX th Century - FRANCE. GOLD MEDAL - PARIS 1900. Huge Cartel / Wall Clock in Bronze with Two Royal Carps and Celtic Mascaron. Stunning Huge Wall Cartel / Clock / Pendulum. In Golden BRONZE - (original gilding to be cleaned or not).

Exceptional ornamentation with Two Royal Carps surmounted by a large vase with Palmettes, below, intersecting Reeds, wide ribbons with knot and tassel at the end, in a decor of palmettes, acanthus leaves and scrolls, in the pure style of Louis XVI. Large domed "railroad" dial with double display of hours and minutes, blue Roman numerals and black Arabic numerals, pair of hands with "Dauphin" termination for the minute hands. This Antique clock is about 125 years old and its 8-day keyed and balancewheel mechanical movement runs and sounds great. Clock delivered complete with its key, its bell and its pendulum. Total height: 58 cms / 23. Total width = 31 cms / 12.2. Total depth = 12 cms / 5.

Total weight = 4.930 kgs / 174 oz, unboxed. In a new box, with flocking wedging and protection of multilayer bubble wrap.
