8 DAY ANTIQUE LONGCASE GRANDFATHER CLOCK. Antique English 8 Day Bell Strike Flame Mahogany Grandfather Longcase Clock. A grand commanding antique longcase grandfather clock. Stunning grandfather clock, circa 1830 8 day longcase clock which strikes each hour on a cast bell. The case made of mahogany with beautiful Inlaid wood detail A grand commanding antique grandfather clock. Stunning with rare center painted dial. The case features The trunk with nice canted corners inlaid with fruitwood and a beautiful shaped flame mahogany door again with inlaid banding around complete with key, The hood with swan neck pediment finished of with brass and nice turned pillars with brass capitals The plinth with lovley fluted columns and a nice recessed feature finished in ebony with inlaid banding.

The clock standing approx 93 inches high, and 23.5 inches wide. The movement in nice clean condition and has been cleaned and oiled with new gut lines the case been restored to bring it back to it's former glory and ready to display in the home, and requires no further restoration. The fantastic white arch painted dial is in excellent condition having Henry Armstrong Loughborough painted on the dial and a seconds and calendar facility fitted, Complete with 2 weights pendulum and winding crank key.
