8 Day Antique Oak & Mahogany Shooting Longcase Grandfather GLASE KIDDERMINSTER

A nice Oak and Mahogany Longcase/ Grandfather clock by THOMAS GLASE KIDDERMINSTER. The clock is totally original, dial to movement and to case. The case has a lovely patina which can only be gained through age.

THOMAS GLASE KIDDERMINSTER is listed in'Loomes Watchmakers and Clockmakers of the World Volume II:'##'. To the hood has swan necks which are finish with brass pateras. The hood is flanked by full turned columns which terminate in brass capitals. The trunk door is cross banded and flanked by full turned columns which terminate in brass capitals. The base has been cross banded.

The clock does has weights and pendulum but no winding key (one can be supplied depend separately). The dial has lovely shells to the corners and to the arch has a scene of a gentleman with his shotgun rest on a tree trunk. The dial is signed'Thos Glase Kidderminster'.

The approximate MAXIMUM dimensions are: # inches / # cm wide across hood, # inches / # cm wide across trunk, # inches / # cm wide across base x # inches / # cm high. The dial is original condition.
