A Rare & Beautiful 200 Year Old Victorian Antique Oak and Mahogany Inlaid Long case Grandfather Clock by clockmaker W Hewson, Lincoln. Made in England during the reign of Queen Victoria in around 1820 to a wonderful standard.The hood with wonderful swan neck pediments with central ball and eagle finial flanked by ball and spire finials. Wonderful line inlaid hood with glazed door and small pull handle. The trunk with line and marquetry inlay, shaped cupboard door and canted edges, flared base with further decoration and raised on bracket feet. A lovely painted dial with rural scenes, subsidiary second hand, Roman numerals and signed W Hewson, Lincoln. A true Antique, made to wonderful portions.
