The door is mahogany veneered. If we then move down to the trunk it has a lovely shaped door cross banded in mahogany. The door is then flanked by. Square reeded columns with stringing inlays.
Finally the base has canted corners and has a shaped applied panel which is nicely cross banded in mahogany. Has the four corners adorned with wonderful sprays of flowers and gilding. The dial is set out with Arabic Numerals and to the centre are. Two lovely paintings of historic buildings.
There is subsidiary second dial and date apperture. The dial also has fretted fingers. The movement is eight day duration and is rack striking on a single bell.
The movement is all complete and is nice and clean as can be seen from the photographs. The clock is complete with weights and pendulum. There is no winding key. The dial is in original condition and the name has faded, again this can be viewed in the photographs. The piece of the back board to the rear of the base is lacking.
