Antique English 8 Day Single Weight Regulator Grandfather Longcase Wall Clock. I have just received some excellent quality bracket clocks from a private collection all of which have been well looked after all of which will be listed over the next few weeks. Some excellent quality bracket clocks please keep your eyes open over the next few months. Exceptional quality 19th century jewellers regulator longcase with a beautiful age patina and colour to the oak case. Original full length glazed door to the trunk with 2 twist latch locks which screw into the case to hold, as you can see in the video. The case has a classic regulator simple design with fantastic proportions. This clock stands beautifully on the floor as a longcase but also has the screw holes in the back to have it on the wall. 12 original diameter painted dial.
Roman numerals with original steel hands. Painted dial is in excellent original condition protected by the glazed door which also has 2 twist latches to hold it closed???
Top quality 19th century 8 day duration regulator movement with deadbeat escapement and maintaining power. The movement has a deadbeat escapement so very accurate as can be expected from a jewellers regulator. Comes supplied with its original Pendulum, original brass weight and a new winding key.
Movement has just been professionally serviced and is in full working order keeping good time as can be seen in the video above. The clock in total measures 69 inches high x 15 inches wide x 8.5 inches deep???? This is a perfect investment clock and a beautiful display piece. Looks absolutely fantastic wherever it is displayed and a true talking point of any room. Exceptional clock which will only grow in value in years to come.

Most clocks will be ok and will not need any additional adjustments but please bear in mind this may not be the case. For your piece of mind we test all our clocks here before they are sent out and any issues are either sorted or described in the add, the clock will not have any problems unless stated in the add as they are tested vigorously before sending.
You are more than welcome to personally collect any item free of charge. All my items will be packed professionally. No matter how well antique clocks have been serviced they will need final adjusting and setting into beat after transport and a professional person is advised and may be required in order to do this. All repairs needed to the mechanism will be carried out by myself and not by a 3rd party clock maker/repairer unless agreed by myself beforehand.
