Antique English J. Chapman 8 Day Striking Mahogany Grandfather Longcase Clock

Beautiful solid oak longcase clock which has a sliding removable hood and a hinged door to the trunk with its original lock and key The case is in excellent condition with a beautiful age patina to it The clock has a hand painted arched 16.5" x 12" dial which is signed by the maker'Jarvis Chapman of Barton', the dial has a seconds and calendar sub dials The dial is in excellent amazing condition with the hand painted cattle scene to the centre and all the decoration being bright and vibrant It has a english 8 day bell striking weight driven movement which has a anchor escapement and comes with its pendulum and weights The movement strikes the bell the amount of hours on the hour Movement is in full working order keeping good time and striking as it should as you can see in the video above??
