Antique George III Longcase clock 8 day oak case. James Bowra Seven Oaks dated 1740 Recorded in the Brian Loomes clockmakers book. James is the son of his father James first who also was a clockmaker from 1680. Hood original glass with brass capped turned pillars. The door has lock and key.

11 inch brass dial with working date aperture, second hand and original hands. The dial has just been fully cleaned and re-silvered. The clock is fully working and keeps very good time.
