Antique Longcase Brass Dial and Movement. Benj Michael St Austell. Dead-Beat C1800

An excellent quality longcase/ domestic regulator dial and movement. Dial and movement original to each other. Dial measures 12 by 17 inches. Possibly the'reference' clock in a large house or shop.

Dead-beat escapement, nicely shaped thick movement plates. One piece brass dial, a fashion mostly found on Southern clocks from 1780 until 1820. Pulleys included, no weights or pendulum. Not run for a while by the looks of it but complete and trains run freely. Looks like original hands, minute hand has older repair which is sound.
