Fantastic Antique English 8 Day Bell Strike Flame Mahogany Grandfather Longcase Clock. A grand commanding grandfather clock. Stunning Circa 1830 8 day duration which strikes each hour on a bell.
The case made of mahogany with beautiful flame mahogany and inlaid features. The trunk with nice turned columns and a beautiful shaped flame mahogany door some minor wood movement see piccie but doesn't detract from the overall appearance. A nice shaped arched hood with lovely carved finials.
The clock standing approx 92.5 inches high excluding the brass finial, and 23 inches wides at the base. The movement in good clean condition and has been oiled with new gut lines and is in good working order. The case been restored to bring it back to it's former glory and is ready to display in the home The fantastic white painted dial is in excellent condition with flowers and gold gilding, having William Jones of Manchester painted on the dial and a seconds and calendar facility (works).
