The door is full length and nicely shaped to the top with a shaped brass escutcheon to the key hole. The door is also complete with it's lock and key which is fully working. The door is then flanked by quarter turned columns. The chapter ring is set out with both Roman numerals and is signed with the makers name. There are subsidiary second dial and a date aperture.
The dial also has pretty fingers. The movement is eight day duration and is rack striking on a single bell. The approximate MAXIMUM dimensions are.Inches / 56 cm wide. Inches / 50.5 cm wide. Also the dial is approximately 13 inches / 33 cm x.
13 inches / 33 cm. AGE : The clock is circa 1780. As it will need transporting and setting up correctly. Complete with weights and pendulum but there is no winding key.
