The case has a classic regulator simple design with fantastic proportions.8 original diameter enamel dial. Roman numerals with original steel hands. Porcelain dial is in excellent original condition signed to the centre by the maker Paul Garnier???
Top quality 19th century 8 day duration regulator movement with very rare pin wheel escapement. The movement has a pin wheel escapement so very accurate as can be expected from a jewellers regulator. The movement is signed by the maker Paul Garnier and numbered. Comes supplied with its original heavy wood rod Pendulum, original brass weight and a new winding key.Movement has just been professionally serviced and is in full working order keeping good time as can be seen in the video above.
