Attractive 8 Day Longcase -Thomas Hooke of Lyme Regis, Dorset

Thomas Hooke of Lyme Regis, Dorset. This clock has been in store and unused for several years. The painted dial is in excellent condition, the numbers and name are all clear, the corners are charmingly painted with scenes depicting the four seasons.

The movement is a little dirty and will probably need cleaning before regular use. Complete with hands, bell, brass pulleys, weights and pendulum. The case is sound and in reasonable condition for it's age, retaining the original painted finish, simulated walnut, a few age related scuffs and knocks but nothing serious. Please study photographs and satisfy yourself as to condition and suitability.
