John Garfield 8-Day Longcase Clock. This is an 18th century 8-day clock heavily carved in medium oak. The movement is in good clean condition and keeps good time, having been professionally restored locally in Melbourne (Derbyshire) in November'23. The clock has a brass dial with a matted centre, plain winding squares and mask spandrels. The case is heavily carved, probably in the 19th century, in the 17th century style with flower pendants and guilloche. It has a locking trunk door.
