Grandfather/longcase iron clock dial. Late 18th century. Original

This is a slightly later long case clock dial. This is a steel clock dial with very nice painting. As you can see there is only modest deterioration to the finish, some small knocks and some wear. Overall the decorative paintwork is in very good order with the detail in the arch being very well preserved. The hands are in good condition.

29.5 x 40.5cm x 3cm. Fitted with a high quality battery quartz mechanism that is fully guaranteed for twelve months. Requires one AA battery which is supplied with the clock. Ref 7424 POST FREE Please remember this is a period clock and will show some wear described above.
