Here is a good late 18th century bracket clock by Robert Henderson of London. Loomes has him listed as working from 1768 to 1805; I would estimate this was made circa 1770 to 1780. Its movement is a double fusee with 8-day duration and five substantial pillars. It stands 21" high with the handle up, and the dial is 7" x 9 1/2 into the arch which contains a strike/silent lever. The back plate is well-engraved as you may see in the pictures.
It is in full working order and has not been altered so is quite ready to be displayed at your home.
