A fine looking late 18 th century dry scraped Danish Bornholm (a small island of of Denmark)pine long-case clock with gilt highlights The hood with dental frieze and laurel carving to the face with observation panels on a slender body with canted corners and door which on the inside retains its full long service history. Standing on a tapered base with splayed feet. The colour is the original and the movement in full working order, eight hours striking every hour and half hour. Made by CC Holm in the year 1785. A decorative piece and not overly tall. 21.5 or 54.5 cm wide. 9 or 23 cm deep.
