Handsome long case clock by Robert Cammack of Ormskirk, Lancashire Circa 1870. Scarisbrick born watch-maker and photographer Robert Cammack ran a successful business on Moor Street as early as the 1840s. He had married in Liverpool in 1836, where he probably did his apprenticeship as a watch-maker and watch finisher.

His first shop opened on Moor Street adjacent to the Black Bear Inn, (now the site of B&M Bargains). 8 Day mechanism striking on a single bell, in full working order and keeping good time, housed in a mahogany vaneered case.

The hood is topped with swan-neck pediments and finials. Hand painted face with with Roman numerals, second hand and date dials. Standing 245cm tall, 62cm wide, 28cm deep at hood and 25cm at base.
