A striking long case clock by Sam Burton who worked out of the Lake District Circa 1780. Housed in a stunning ebonised oak case with intricately carved 16th century style detail. The words'Lose no time' are carved across the hood - a real talking point.

8 day key wound mechanism in full working order and keeping good time. Beautiful brass face with calendar and seconds apertures framed by attractive barley twist pillars.
