Dating from circa 1800, this oak cased grandfather clock is by William Giscard of Ely. It has a square painted dial with 8 day striking movement, housed in a typical slender trunk. The clock comes with weights and pendulum but is untested.

IT is in sturdy vintage condition and free from woodworm. The clock measures 47 cm (18 1/2 in) wide by 192 cm (75 1/2 in) tall and 23 cm (9 in) deep, the visible dial is 30 cm (11 3/4 in) square.
