William Strickland Tenterden antique mahogany longcase grandfather clock C1800. South East Antiques are pleased to offer this antique country clock. Dating from the George III period circa 1800, this mahogany cased clock is by William Strickland of Tenterden.

It has a moulded cornice with painted dial and 30 hour movement housed within a typical slender trunk. The clock is in sturdy vintage condition, free from woodworm with a pendulum but no weight. The grandfather clock measures 47 cm (18 1/2 in) wide by 194 cm (76 1/2 in) tall and 25 cm (10 in) deep, the dial is 30 cm square. Please send us your postcode for a quote to other locations.
